This snack is perfect served at a cocktail or dinner party.

Ingredients

  • 1 29-oz. can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • ¼ c. olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 tbsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Chopped roasted red peppers
  • Chopped olives
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Original Panetini

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients, except roasted red peppers and olives, to the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth.
  2. Spread hummus on toast and top with roasted red peppers and olives.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
